Terrence Jones and Terrence Ross both attended Portland’s Jefferson high school. Jones is a star at kentucky and Ross is a star at Washington. Both Oregon boys are projected to be drafted in the top 8 of the of the 2012 NBA draft by NBAdraft.net.
I watched Terrence Jones play a few times in high school but never got to see Ross play as he transferred from Jefferson. Jones’ Jefferson Democrats beat Mountain View in a very close Class 5A state championship game game in 2009.
UConn is projected to have the top two picks in the draft with Andre Drummond and Jeremy Lamb.

Quincy Pondexter of Washington and Landry Fields of Stanford were taken in the 2010 NBA Draft. The only two Pac-10 players selected.

According to NBA Draft.net Quincy Pondexter of Washington will be the only Pac-10 player taken in the NBA draft. A big part of this is the fact that the Pac-10 got wiped out of it’s stars by early entry to the NBA draft for several years. Just take a look at this (Pac-10 basketball doing well in the NBA) that I wrote earlier this year.
