    Summit was the No. 1 Class 5A girls team of the fall and Mountain View was second in both girls and boys based on the COA prep ranking system. The top 8 teams in each sport score points (see “Point System” @ bottom of page). Summit won two state team titles and Mountain View finished second in both sports (soccer & XC) on the girls side. Corvallis didn’t win an individual state title but used it’s overall strength to score the most points on the boys side.

    The Ducks and Beavers are the only undefeated teams in Pac-10 football play so far this season. Oregon (6-0 overall) sits @ 3-0 in the Pac-10, while Oregon State (3-2 overall) is 2-0 in the Pac-10. The Beavers only losses are to two undefeated teams in TCU and Boise State.
