Madras boys lose in Class 4A semifinals.

Crook County plays Sisters in the first round of the Class 4A state volleyball playoffs. The problem with that is that power rankings were supposed to separate the best teams. That didn’t happen this time. Let’s take a look at the two teams:
Sisters
• 2009 4A State Champions
• 22-9 overall record in 2010
Crook County
• 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 5A State Champions
• 15-9 overall record in 2010
• Crook County’s losses are to: Sunset, Redmond, Clackamas, Jesuit, Central Catholic, Summit, Mountain View, Central Catholic and Jesuit again. Can you say an insane schedule!
