The new Oregon state football playoffs

    COA,Feature — Tags: , , , , , , , , , — Josh Cordell @ 10:25 am

Power rankings! The OSAA is going for it, let’s see how it works out. I for one am a fan of the move, because it always sucks when the two best teams have to play each other too early. What this means for the Bend schools is that Mountain View and Bend could face off in the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state football playoffs if they both win their first-round games. This would be epic! Mountain View must first beat Franklin @ Mountain View and Bend has to take down Corvallis @ Corvallis.

What do you think of the new system? Is it too early to tell? Any big problems with the first-round match ups?
