What Oregon quarterback had the best year?

    Here are a few choices:
    • Dan Fouts, Chargers – Named the greatest San Diego Charger of all time.
Jordan Johnson, Sheldon - The 6A player of the year is state champion, commits to Montana and finishes with career numbers @ Sheldon of 94 passing TDs and 45 rushing TDs.
Kellen Clemens, Jets – From Burns to Eugene to New York. The big thing he has going for is that his season isn’t over yet! Backup for the Division championship against San Diego, but it’s a very short trip from backup to being on the field for NFL quarterbacks. He’s 1-0 as a starter this year.
Jeremiah Masoli, Oregon – Led the Ducks to a Pac-10 title and the Rose Bowl. Finished the year with 2,147 yards passing and 15 TDs. Also ran 668 yards and 13 TDs.
Dennis Dixon, Pittsburgh – The former Duck made his first career NFL start.

Oregon prep football has produced an amazing amount of great quarterbacks. Kellen Clemens (Burns), Derek Anderson (Scappoose), Erik Ainge (Glencoe), Joey Harrington (Central Catholic) and Jared Zabransky (Hermiston) are just a few that come to mind.

So who are the best quarterbacks to ever come out of Central Oregon? Let’s have some nominations. If you need any help getting started, here are the Bend High passing records.

The best quarterback living in Central Oregon would have to be Drew Bledsoe :-)
