Not a lot of surefire, can’t miss, number one draft picks come along… Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck sure seems to be one of them. He’s legit! Watch the videos below.
We all know he can pass, but watch what else he can do!
Terrelle Pryor was the ultimate recruit… that didn’t work out. Jeremiah Masoli was the starter… that didn’t work out. So how has sophomore quarterback Darron Thomas’ numbers compared to those two this season? Keep in mind Thomas has another game to play. The leader of the three has his stat in bold.
Michael Vick played pretty much the best football game I’ve ever seen last Monday night. Cam Newton looks like an NFL player playing against a junior high team at times. The NFL and college quarterbacks respectively, are dominating on the field this year. Vick is the super-exciting scramble, keep the play alive, quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Newton is the Hesiman hopeful big, strong, versatile quarterback for the Auburn Tigers.
Both players set the highlight reels ablaze every weekend. And they are both popular subjects of sports-talk radio, not just for what they do on the field, but more so for what they have or may have done off the field.
Vick has already paid for his crime, but all is not forgiven and clearly not forgotten. Newton is innocent until proven guilty, but that may not be the case in the court of public opinion.
So what do you think of the two controversial quarterbacks?
