This is the final week of the Intermountain Conference regular season for boys basketball. Playoffs are still wide open. A few teams play each other twice this week, should be very exciting.
TUESDAY
Crook County (0-11) @ BEND (4-7) 7:00pm – Bend should win this game.
Madras (5-6) @ HERMISTON (4-7) 7:00pm – Madras and Hermiston play each other twice in the final week. Both teams still have a shot at the playoffs.
Pendleton (7-4) @ THE DALLES-WAHTONKA (8-3) 7:00pm – Playing each other twice in the last week. Second place will be decided by these two games.
Summit (6-5) @ MOUNTAIN VIEW (10-1) 7:15pm – The Cougars have won six games in a row. Would be the biggest basketball win in Summit history.
THURSDAY
Hermiston @ PENDLETON 7:00pm - One of Oregon’s truest rivalries. Pendleton is the heavy favorite in this one, but you know Hermiston is going to fight for this win.
FRIDAY
Madras @ THE DALLES-WAHTONKA 7:00pm – TDW won the first meeting 74-73 @ Madras. Should be a great game.
Mountain View @ BEND 7:30pm – The “Civil War” is a great event no matter the standings. Expect some creative cheers from the Lava Bear faithful.
Crook County @ SUMMIT 7:30pm – A needed Summit win in the playoff hunt.
SATURDAY
Bend @ SUMMIT 7:00pm - The last time these two met was the best high school basketball game I’ve ever seen, with the Storm winning on a buzzer-beater in overtime. This game could possibly be a win and your in, lose and your out for Summit. Put this one on the calendar!
Crook County @ MOUNTAIN VIEW 7:00pm – Cougars should cruise into the playoffs with a win at home against the Cowboys.
Hermiston @ MADRAS 7:00pm – Likely a playoff decider. It could come down to the wire for playoffs with this game along with the Bend-Summit game.
The Dalles-Wahtonka @ PENDLETON 7:00pm – There’s a big difference between 2nd and 3rd as far as playoffs go, this game could decide that.

Intermountain Conference Standings:
Mountain View 7-1
The Dalles-Wahtonka 7-2
Pendleton 5-3
Summit 5-4
Bend 4-4
Madras 4-5
Hermiston 2-6
Crook County 0-9
Today’s Games:
Hermiston @ Bend – Hermiston needs this one to keep hope alive. A Bend win and they are likely tied for third in the IMC. Having lost several close games, I imagine the Lava Bears would be very happy to be tied for third!
Pendleton @ MV – Mountain View has won three straight and Pendleton has lost two in a row. A MV win and Pendleton loss would create a log jam in the 3rd through 6th positions.

BEND – The Lava Bears are right in the thick of it and have a huge week coming up. Tuesday they play host to Summit and then play @ Mountain View on Friday, with both games being girls/boys doubleheaders which means you can expect a packed house.
CROOK COUNTY – The Cowboys have yet to win a game this season and it’s not going to be easy to do this week against Summit and MV.
HERMISTON – The Bulldogs picked up their first IMC win of the season when they beat Crook County. This week they play league-leading Pendleton and TDW.
MADRAS – The White Buffaloes have lost 3-straight IMC games.

MOUNTAIN VIEW – Needs to bounce back from their first loss of the season. After traveling to Crook County on Tuesday they play host to would should be a very loud civil war game on Friday with Bend.
PENDLETON – The hottest team in the IMC, the Buckaroos have won 4-straight league games.
SUMMIT – The Storm rebounded from a loss to Pendleton with a win over Hermiston. They are on the road (the short road) against Bend and Crook County this week.
THE DALLES-WAHTONKA - With 3-straight IMC wins, including a huge win @ MV, TDW is tied for first in the league.
