• Summit is ranked 1st in the state, while the reigning state champions Crook County are ranked 2nd in the coaches poll.
• The two teams split their matches against each other this season, both teams won @ home.
• Neither team has given up a game in the playoffs.
• Crook County coach Rosie Honl is going for her fourth state title in a row.
• Summit coach Jill Waskom is going for her first state title in this her third final, her second as coach of Summit, with her first coming as the coach of Mountain View.
• Of the 10 teams in finals from 6A-2A, only three are public schools. Crook County, Summit and Sisters (all from Central Oregon).
• The finals are 6A – Jesuit vs. Central Catholic. 5A – Crook County vs. Summit. 4A – Sisters vs. Marist. 3A – Cascade Christian vs. Santiam Christian. 2A – Blanchet Catholic vs. Salem Academy. 1A – Imbler vs. Griswold.
