When the top two teams in Class 6A Jesuit (9-1) and Westview (9-1) square off in a Metro League game this Friday a Central Oregon player will be among those in action. Michael Leunen is a transfer from Redmond, playing for the second-ranked Wildcats of Westview.

Michael, an all-state tight end and defensive lineman this past football season @ Westview, is the younger brother of Redmond standouts Maarty (Redmond, Oregon, drafted by Houston Rockets) and Matt (Redmond, Portland State/football).

The game is @ top-ranked Jesuit. Neither team has lost to an Oregon school all year and Westview boosts a win over the top 5A team Jefferson.
