  • OSAA, how to deal with individual sports?

    Prep — Tags: , , , — Josh Cordell @ 2:42 pm

The OSAA has laid out a proposal for how to handle individual/team sports for high school teams in Oregon.

The sports effected by the changes will be cross country, wrestling, tennis and golf. Right now they are looking at moving to “regional” meets rather than “district” meets.

    1. Patrick Wurtz says:

So this would make districts a 3-4 league districts versus a one league (IMC per example) districts?

    2. Josh Cordell says:

What it might do, is combine districts into “regional” meets which would have basically a bigger district tournament with more state qualifiers coming out of that region.
