You’ve got to add Joe Dusan to the list as he was the 95 state player of the year when 4A was the highest level and everybody was playing against the big schools. Great athlete and boy did he have some good football players around him.

This is going back a while, but Scanlon from Crook County 1984 was an incredible QB and a great leader. He walked out with a couple of IMC championships and the Big School State Championship prior to going to Lynfield and being successful at that level as well.

Gabe Nehl has got my vote as the best QB MV has ever had. Maybe the best in C.O. Fouts and Bledsoe… that’s two pretty amazing QBs!

What about Gabe Nehl from MV from 95-97. Fouts is by far the best living in Central Oregon.

There are a few who have played some college football from CO, but not well known. The best quarterback living in Central Oregon has to be Dan Fouts.
