Incredible fall so far for Summit

Summit had a very successful fall in 2010 where they won two state championships and the Storm are looking even better this year. Here’s what they’ve done so far this fall:
Team (2010 record)
FOOTBALL (0-9) – The team’s 4-1 start is the best in team history. OSAA ranking #20 in 5A. After two-straight winless seasons, the Storm are riding a 4-game win streak as they play host to undefeated Bend High on Friday, by far their toughest game of the season so far.
VOLLEYBALL (5th in state) – OSAA ranked #1 team in 5A. 12-3 record with an 11-game win streak recently snapped by 6A powerhouse Central Catholic.
BOYS CROSS COUNTY (5th in state) – Ranked 2nd in the state, the Storm boys are looking like a state-championship team with a dominating performance at the Harrier Classic and two of the fastest runners in the entire state at any level.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTY (state champions) – Ranked Nationally, and the No. 1 team in Oregon. Summit is the heavy favorite to win their 4th-straight state title. One of the best girls cross country teams ever in Central Oregon… and that is really saying something!
BOYS SOCCER (4-9-2) – 5-2-2 record with both losses coming against 6A teams (Beaverton and Central Catholic). OSAA ranking #5 in 5A. Summit has already surpassed its win total from last year. The Storm have a big game with #4 Mountain View coming up on Oct. 11th.
GIRLS SOCCER (state champions) – 5-2-1 record with losses to Sherwood and Bend. OSAA ranking #5 in 5A.
