I just heard a radio interview with Tim Tebow and was reminded of what an incredible platform athletes are given and how if they are capable of sharing a positive message, just how powerful they can be. I admire Tebow. I love watching him on the football field, but it’s off the field that the Denver Bronco quarterback is even more impressive. During his time at the University of Florida he pretty much won as much as any college quarterback ever has. But it was what he did with his life off the “grid iron” that struck me. He’s an outspoken Christian leader and dedicates much of his time, energy and resources to helping others. Who else stands out as someone in sports who you can admire?
