UPDATE: Bulletin article on the Bend girls game
• 3 out of the 8 teams remaining in the 5A boys playoffs are from the IMC, but IMC champion Summit isn’t one of them. They fell to Churchill 3-1.
• The sub-round of the Class 5A girls playoffs featured several lopsided matchups, with the four games having a combined score of 25-0, including Mountain View’s 7-0 win over Wilsonville. Mountain View was shutout 1-0 by Crescent Valley in the first round.
• The most lopsided first round game of Class 5A girls was Summit’s 11-0 win over Madison.
• 3 of the 8 remaining Class 6A boys teams are league champions; Jesuit, Central Catholic and South Salem.
• 3 Metro teams and 3 Three Rivers teams make up the 6 of the 8 remaining.
• The Sisters girls are rolling along, after winning their sub-round game they upset league champion Westside Christian 3-0 to advance to the round of 8 in Class 4A/3A/2A/1A.
• All 7 league champions made it to the round of 8 in Class 4A boys.
• In Class 3A/2A/1A boys 4 of 5 league champs advance to round of 8. No. 1 Creswell was upset by No. 4 Delphian 1-0.
