Randy Johnson retires
Randy Johnson, AKA “The Big Unit” has retired from baseball after 22 stellar years of pitching. The former Mariner star will always have a special place in my heart for the role he played in the game “Ken Griffy Jr. Presents Major League Baseball” for Super Nintendo. As a teammate of Jr. and along with slugger Jay Buhner, the Mariners were my team on that game and everytime I think of Johnson, I think of how he helped me dominate on Super Nintendo way back in 1994.
