    Bruce
I’ve liked every “Kiwi” I’ve ever met, and Bruce Cole-Baker is my favorite. The easy-going, tall lean man from New Zealand is just plain cool. He and his wife Erin Cole-Baker are both talented musicians. (If you ever get a chance to hear ECB, don’t miss it!)

    Lakers vs Celtics

    NBA
The 2010 NBA finals is another Lakers vs Celtics matchup. When I hear “Lakers vs Celtics” a smile always comes to my face. Not because of my fond memories of watching the Lake Show battle the Celts, but because of the special place the video game L vs C has in my heart. I can still remember first playing the game and not being able to believe how epically awesome and real it was. My how times have changed! Take a look @ the video of this 1989 ground-breaker. Pretty funny now :-)

What does Bend need for sports?

    COA,Feature — Tags: , , , , , — Josh Cordell @ 1:48 pm

Bend is amazing when it comes to sports and recreation opportunities. But it’s not perfect. So what do we need? For example, we need more public tennis courts. The high school tennis programs in Bend have grown to be quite giant and there just isn’t enough courts to go around.

So what would you like to see happen in Bend and how can we make it happen?

    • More public tennis courts.
    • A new outdoor skate park.
    • An indoor ice rink.
    • An indoor bike park.
    • A large basketball facility.
