• Jesuit girls win their 8th-straight State title.

• Girls XC power is spread out in Bend once again. Summit is dominating at the top, but Bend and Mountain View moved back ahead of Hermiston and Pendleton this year. Both the Lava Bears and Cougars have some excellent young talent.

• Crook County 4-peats as Class 5A State Champion.
• All private-school final as Central Catholic beats Jesuit for 6A title.

TEAMS
• An incredible Fall by the 6A Jesuit girls: 1st in Cross County, 1st in Soccer, 2nd in Volleyball. Jesuit didn’t do so bad on the boys side either; 2nd in Cross Country, 2nd in football and semifinals in soccer.
• The 5A Summit girls also had a solid Fall: 1st Cross County, 2nd in Volleyball, Quarterfinals in Soccer.
• Central Catholic gets a state title by each gender. Girls win 6A volleyball, boys win 6A cross country.
